I am thinking about moving with my husband to Bergen, Norway next year.

I have nothing but awlful things about the Director os this school , the teachers and the building and the quality of instruction.
I have seen other blogs with pictures. Can it really be that bad ?

Has anyone been there and had any experience of this school ? What other schools can expats reccommend ?

Thanks

Dear PISOBergen, We're sorry you’ve heard such negative opinions about our school. We assure you that the vast majority of parents and students are very satisfied with ISB. In our latest satisfaction survey, 97% of the parents answered that their kids are enjoying their time here at ISB. When it comes to quality of instruction, we hold international accreditations by CIS, NEASC and IB. Our teaching is also highly ranked by our parents. Our facilities are not great, but we are in the process of finding new premises. We know how important it is to assure that our kids are getting the best possible education when when moving abroad. So we encourage you to come visit and meet us! You didn't say in your post, but is your husband coming to work for an international company here in Bergen? Our experience is that most companies agree to a "look-see" visit! Kind regards, International School of Bergen www.isob.no post@isob.no www.facebook.com/InternationalSchoolBergen
