I’m going to move to Cyprus, but I don't know which option would be better – buying or renting. I considered Larnaca, as the property market is less expensive, but I’d like to live in Limassol and now I doubt whether I can afford it. Maybe it would be better for me to rent. According to Tranio's online guide, the difference between prices for house in Larnaca and Limassol is not as big as I expected. Can you recommend some options? Who knows property market in Cyprus?

Hi Julia,

Limassol is indeed a popular area for expats, as are Oroklini and Paralimini. What factors are important to you when deciding where to live? Some expats find renting in Cyprus to be expensive and feel that buying may work out cheaper in the long run, but each case will be different.
