Hi everyone, I've just been offered a job in Hong Kong and will be working in Wanchai. Can anyone recommend some good places in Hong Kong where I can find a nice modern one bedroom flat that isnt a shoebox for $15,000 per month? I dont mind commuting within reason. (also, what websites should I use to find accomodation?) Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

... so far, I've read some good things about Park Island (where someone on another forum managed to find a decent 2 bed for $14,000). any other recommendations welcome!

Hi Remi Mac,

Luckily, public transport in Hong Kong is pretty good so you won't have trouble commuting.

Where you choose to live will depend on your personal preferences but generally speaking you can find larger apartments further away from the CBD. Learn more about the various suburbs on the Areas and Suburbs of Hong Kong page.

Good luck
