Hello Rubbab,

Usually, when your employer says they'll deal with your visa, that will also include your work permit.

Your employer will be your sponsor. They are probably very familiar with the visa/work permit process in Abu Dhabi and will ask you to provide them with certain documents. Its best to provide notarised copies of all documents they request from you. Once they have filed these documents with you application at the Department of Immigration, you should be granted an entry permit which allows you into the country.

Once in the country, you will be required to take some medical tests (you might want to check if your employer will pay for these as well). Once your medical tests come back clear you can provide your employer with your certificate, which they will use in your application for a work permit.

Take a look the Expat Arrival's pages on Visas for Abu Dhabi and Work Permits for Abu Dhabi for more details.

Congrats on your job offer and good luck with the move to Abu Dhabi.
