Background
With a student body of around 300, the British International School of New York (BIS-NY) offers an individualised education. Classes are limited to 20 students or fewer, with a staff-pupil ratio of 1:7. The well-respected International Baccalaureate Primary and Middle Years Programmes form the basis of the curriculum alongside the English National Curriculum. Extra-curricular activities are varied with something to interest every child. Options range from basketball, yoga and chess to coding, musical theatre and football.
