Calling expat parents!

Have you have good or bad experiences with either Dubai College or Dubai British School? We're looking for any information that could help other expat parents decide between schools in Dubai. Many thanks!

Hi, My children have been in Dubai British School since we moved to Dubai 3 years ago and we are all very happy with the school. The teachers always keep us informed on what is happening and the kids love it, they participate in a lot of sport events and my daughter loves art which they focus a lot on. I would definitely commend it. Hope this helps. Anne

Dubai College is one of the more expensive schools in Dubai and its facilities and campus reflect this. It also consistently scores well academically. This is due to it being selective in its application process though. Dubai British school is a younger school which is currently building its reputation. It is slightly cheaper than DC, and is more inclusive in terms of abilities. It has a good head teacher and a strong staff. My children have attended DBS for the last 5 years and have done well there. In summary, both of them are excellent schools. The only issue you may find is that you can't get in to them because they are oversubscribed. Hope this helps.
