Hi Anyone who has been in India on Employment visa for more than 5 years? Maximum number of years for Employment Visa is 5 years - what happens after that?, can I go to my native country and get a net E visa? or will I have to leave the country? Anne

An employment visa can be extended in India 4 times for a maximum of 5 years. After that you need to go to your home country and apply for a new employment visa.

I have worked in India for the last 5 years for a UK company on a employment visa I have now started my own business in India and I currently have a business visa can I apply for an employment visa within India as the company I have formed is registered in India. I have a pan card as I have paid taxes i India. Alternatively can I renew my current business visa from within India?
