Hi there, if this offer is in USD then it sounds like a pretty reasonable offer to live comfortably. However, the cost of living in Abu Dhabi is pretty steep and for two people to live off this, it all depends on your own lifestyle, as well as what benefits are offered along with your basic salary. Accommodation is likely to be your biggest expense. Transport is another thing you would have to consider as public transport in Abu Dhabi is far from comprehensive, so you may have to consider buying a car.You should also enquire about healthcare, as your employer should provide some kind of private coverage package - they are required by law to finance expat health insurance.

Check out our Cost of Living in Abu Dhabi page for a breakdown of what you can expect to pay for all your basics in the emirate.  If you're still in the position to negotiate the contract terms, you can read our Expat Contract Negotiation page, which will give you some great tips about what to consider in trying to get the best deal you possibly can.
