Hi there,

I've been planning a move to the UK for quite a while and I finally have a job sorted and I'm looking to move to London in September. However, I'm having second thoughts following Brexit. I'm Polish and I have lots of family and friends who've moved to the UK for work. They always said great things but I've been reading that there is now a lot of bad sentiment towards the Poles in London. I heard some racists defaced a Polish community centre after the referendum. It sounds awful?

Should I be worried about racist attacks or are the media blowing things out propotion?

Most people in the UK are big fans of Poles and other Europeans. Don't be influenced by scare stories in the media, they are usually totally overblown.

Attacks no, this is very rare and is only a small number of individuals, so rare that when it does happen it is reported on national televison
