Hi Amani !

Rent will probably be your biggest expense in Qatar. If you were to get a flat share - it could cost you anything between QAR 2500 to 7500. Many employers will offer you a housing allowance or provide accomodation - so look into this when negotiating it into your contract.

Your other expenses will ultimately depend on the type of lifestyle you have. But the cost of living in Qatar is high, mainly because so much is imported into the country.

Take a look at this page on Cost of Living in Qatar - to get a better picture of the expenses you can expect.

In regards to your question on whether to choose a job in Qatar or one is Saudi Arabia, I would say that salaries in Saudi do tend to be higher, so you shouldn't really settle for anything less than you are getting paid in Qatar. But, at the end of the day you need to weigh it up and think about opportunities to progress and also the type of life you will have in either place.
