I am planning to move to Turkey and buy a property there. Once I have a property I will apply for a residence permit. I am told that this should be fine. My question is, once I have my residence permit in Turkey, can I obtain a work visa and work in my own bar(I intend to buy a small bar)? I want to work in my own bar in Turkey, is this possible? Are there specific requirements? I am financially secure, I worked straight away after I finished school, so I have accumulated a lot of money. Furthermore, I have never had any problems with the law. I am a Christian from Egypt originally.

I am currently 17 but I am turning 18 in a couple of months and would like to move to Dubai. However, I do have some concerns about my possible move. First of all, what do I need to obtain in order to stay, live, and work in Dubai? I am planning on staying for approximately 1 year, so do I need to obtain a visa and if yes what kind? Furthermore, I would also like to work as I need to earn an income to pay for housing and living expenses. Where would be the best place to look for jobs? Lastly, I also need to find somewhere to live.

Working from home for a foreign employer with a foreign contract in Shanghai?

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Shanghai
Hi
My wife received a job offer to work in Shanghai for a Chinese company. I would like to work there and may have the opportunity to keep working with my current US employer from home, basically working 100% remote (US contract, salary on US account, no revenue generated in China...). My understanding is even in that scenario you must obtain a Z visa to work legally. And it seems that it has to be by contracting with a Chinese company but is there any way to make this process with a foreign sponsor ?
Thanks
