Hi Harsha, Just like you I am also one of the user of this forum and trying to help others with the amount of information I have. I am currently based in ahmedabad. Believe me Ahmedabad is one of the best place to live in India. Compared to Bangalore you cost of living will decrease significantly. You will save good money even if your salary remain constant to that of bangalore. Ellsbrg is one of the good location to live, however once you are here you may consider some other locations based on your job location. Unlike Bangalore you will fint that Trafic is not at all a problem in Ahmedabad and you can drive easily to any place you want. Dont waste you time in even thinking about basic transport or basic necesseities. You will easily get all this in Ahmedabad.. All the Best..
