Hi Mit To Lua,

It shouldn't be to hard to find an apartment in District 1. This part of Ho Chi Minh City is particularly popular with expats. Most people find their apartments through work of mouth or have their employer arrange it for them. You can also check out the classifieds sections of your local papers. Finding accommodation yourself, will certainly save you a bit on agents fees.

Fees will depend on the service you use, some agents collect their fee from the landlord but you may be asked to take on some admin costs.

For more information check out the Accommodation in Ho Chi Minh City page.
