What a bad time to be offered a great job in Libya! :-(

Can anyone tell me what the latest is with Gaddafi and the political situation over there... I want this job, but I don't want to risk my neck for it!

A bad time indeed! The fighting between the government and opposition forces is approaching a state of civil war. The United States and many European nations have already taken steps to evacuate nationals, and now foreign companies, like BP, are even removing staff from the region. It's HIGHLY recommended that expats halt plans to travel to Libya until the situation is resolved. Sorry to break it to you -- but the job just isn't worth it right now!
