Hi Daniel - you can expect to pay anything from 3,000 to 10,000 LYD per month for a villa in a compound in Tripoli, and for an apartment in central Tripoli you would be looking at 3,500-4,500 LYD. Bear in mind accommodation costs may have escalated in recent months following the insecurity in Libya. Most expats choose to stay in the suburbs of The Regatta or Palm City, which house the expat compounds.

We are in the process of updating our Libya guide following the conflict in the country, but have a look at our Cost of Living in Libya page to read more about what you can expect to pay for accommodation and other necessities.

Palm City's prices are incredible high 2 +1 apartment starts from 4000 Euro/month.i live in Palm as well, but security fails ,you will have many uninvited local people on the beach and arround the pool. in town you can find high block residence apartments with the price of 2500-3000 LD/MONTH fully furnished. regards

a flat or apartment unit in tripoli can range from 500LD to 2,500LD depending on location and amenities. 500LD usually has no furnishings only water heater is provided. We were even able to get one flat in gotshaal area fully furnished for only 1,200LD it has 3 big bedrooms, one cr, and a small receiving room.
