Hi, I would like to study Dubai and abu dhabi laws before moving to uae as I am planning to move to united arab emirates in September for a job in Dubai media city.

I think it depends on what you are looking to learn and in how much detail. It is certainly a good idea to familiarise yourself with the laws and customs of a country before moving there and there are a lot of resources online to assist you.

You can also use the Expat Arrivals page on Culture Shock in Dubai to get you started.
