I am a temporary resident here in romania for 5 years. I wanted to know if can i go to Norway to work as a family member of a EU national.

Firstly, what is your nationality and your relationship to the EU national?

Having had temporary residency in Romania will not give you any rights in Norway. It will be very much dependent on your passport.

As a non-EU citizen, you would be advised to get a job before applying for a visa for Norway. 

For now take a look at the Work Permits for Norway page. Then let me know if you have more specific questions.
