Festivals in Taipei, Taiwan?

I'll hopefully be visiting Taipei for a month in January-February next year. I'm just wondering if there are any seasonal tourist things to do like festivals and the like that will be happening around then? Any suggestions for must-see sightseeing?

There are at least two that I know of around then - there's the Taipei lantern festival, and then in 2013 the Chinese New Year will fall in January.

Do you have kids? Taipei has some awesome museums and attractions for children, but there is plenty for adults to see and do in Taipei as well.
