Hi Lalbin,

You should be able to find most of the information you need on our Working in Singapore and Work Permits for Singapore pages.

It seems that you will need a special permit to work in Singapore, but the applicaiton process is easier than most other countries in the region. You will need the cooperation of an employer though, so I suggest contacting the people at the position you want to apply for and explaining your situation.

I hope this has been useful. The best of luck for the application process!

Regards,
Bradley

Hi, Lalbin, As Bradley mentioned, the process in Singapore is relatively straight forward although a recently enacted legislation called Fair Consideration Framework does put up some additional hurdles for labor market testing before foreigners can be hired on Employment Pass (EP). If you do not qualify for EP (e.g. because salary not meeting required threshold), you may still be eligible for other types of work visas. At this point, I would suggest that you proceed with your application. If you are asked to confirm whether you hold any type of visa, you should let them know you will require employer sponsorship (unless you are planning to apply for Personalised Employment Pass, which is issued on your own merits not needing employer sponsorship). If you are successful in landing the job and require further assistance with work visa, assessing the offer, or organizing relocation logistics, please let me know. All the best.
