In terms of getting your family over, they would be able to come in on a dependant's pass if you possess an S Pass or Employment Pass. This requires that you are legally married, and earn at least 4,000 SGD.
Australia and Singapore do have an avoidance of double taxation agreement (DTA), which means that you shouldn't be taxed in Australia for the money you make in Singapore. In terms of your Australian investments, you will probably be taxed there.
That having been said, tax is always complicated, and if you really want to max your earnings and save as much as you can in the long run, I'd really recommend speaking to an expert.
Check out our Visas for Singapore and Work Permits for Singapore pages. I'd also have a look at the Singapore Ministry of Manpower website.
