The job market in Romania is pretty tough. Expats often find it fairly difficult to secure a job with a decent salary. Romanian companies prefer to hire Romanian citizens rather than going to the trouble of processing a work permit for a foreigner.
However, as long as you are willing to be persistant someone with your experience should eventually be able to secure a position.
Just be aware that even once you've secured a position, there is likely to be a long wait for your work permit as this is a highly bureaucratic process in Romania.
I'd advise you to take a look at our pages on Working in Romania and Work Permits for Romania for more information on the Romanian job markets and the paperwork needed to obtain the legal documents to work in the coutry.
