Destination: Luanda
Hi, Does anyone have an idea how best to approach applying for work permit in Angola. Employee is a French citizen currently living in Paris, and will travel alone (no family). We understand a few basic facts ie, application must be made through Angola's embassy in Paris and also that the embassy then sends the documentation to Luanda for the relevant government department to approve. My questions are: 1) for the government approval to be obtained in Luanda, do we need a local visa agent/company to monitor the process.

Hi everyone, I'm thinking of moving to Mallorca and would like some advice before I take the plunge! I have worked as a stonemason in the Yorkshire dales for the past 20 years and wondered if despite the crisis in Spain I would still be able to find construction jobs there? I appreciate that Spanish people will not employ foreigners and I would only expect to work for expats. I have experience ranging from ground work through to roofing and was also brought up on a farm so I can turn my hand to most things! I have studied Spanish before; 4 months of intensive courses at various locations.

Paying Tax in Indonesia?

Expert Info

Destination: Indonesia
Hi, I will be assigned to work in Indonesia. I am wondering about paying individual income tax. Basically, I will directly receive my salary from the parent company, which is located outside Indonesia. Also, I don't have any income from other sources in Indonesia. I wonder if I still do have to pay Indonesian tax with a progressive rate or not. From many websites, it's said that expats will not have to pay tax in Indo if they are receiving income from their home country. So, I assume that I don't have to pay tax although I reside in Indo more than 183 days. Is it correct?

The other question is if anyone knows good (private) schools for his age. He enjoys playing sports, so schools with good sports facilities have our preference.

What is the right salary in Norway?

This question was asked about a year ago, but never got answered, so I thought that I'd re-surface it. I was wondering you who live/lived there, how would describe the total income of NOK 700k per annum? (impossible, budget, average, high, incredible?) We are a couple. and with such a salary, what could be a reasonable rental per month which leaves enough money for the rest of things. I have no idea about it and would be helpful if you can give me some estimation.
