Expert Info

Submitted by vlopes832 on
Destination: Guangzhou

Hi there!

I am considering moving to Guangzhou with my 18 year-old-son, who is currently studying Photography at the university in Brazil. I am a little bit worried about finding an University in Guangzhou which accepts international students and which offers courses 100% in English. I was not able to confirm if the University of Fine Arts offers this. Any suggestion or information about this subject would be highly appreciated.

How high is the cost of living in Poland?

Expert Info

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on
Destination: Poland

I am moving to Poland early next year. My company has offered me a salary of 13000 ZL. Base location would be Warsaw. I have a family of three (Self, Wife and 5-year old daughter). My wife and daughter would not be travelling immediately with me. I am assuming after about 3-4 months once I settle down.

Do you think the salary is good enough? How much do you think would rentals and other expenses cost?

Hello All, I am looking into an assignment in the UAE sometime early next year with my wife and kids. I have read several articles on this topic but but my situation has some caveats that those articles do not address. I know there are income, housing, and health insurance requirements when sponsoring a parent which will not be an issue for me.

Hello,

My husband will start to work at Antwerp by 1st January .
We have 2 daughters ; 7 and 12 years old.
Now, we have to make 2 critical decisions ; which region to live and which schools to choose for our daughters?
We think living at a walking distance to school would help our daughthers for faster adaptation.
Will appreciate if you share your opinion/experience with us.

I have got an offer of 5000pln Gross (3500 net or take home) job offer and would like me in if I accept it for 3 month probation contract. I'm currently from India. The catch is for rent accommodation, the company wont do and there'll be no flight reimbursement. However, the offer looks good but is a well earned offer to live in Poland as a first timer who'll be traveling there for work and living oneself by?

Best areas to live in Kuala Lumpur?

Expert Info

Submitted by tompitman on

Hello - I have a job offer by my existing company and am seriously considering a move to Kular Lumpar in January. Can you advise if KL is a good place to live with a young family (wife plus two small children)? What are the best areas in the city to live with good access to schools? My work would be in Bukit Bintang and we'd like to live in a suburb, ideally in a detached house if possible rather than an apartment. Also, should we be thinking about enrolling children into an international school in advance.
