Hi all,
I have been offered a new role in Jeddah, I am British and currently live and work in London.
I am type 1 diabetic therefore I use two insulins, needles and a freestyle libre, which currently I get each month as part of the NHS.
The company has said to me every employee is covered with Bupa VIP, however, after looking online I cannot see what this covers and if it would cover my condition and medication.
Could anybody advise on what the procedure is in Saudi Arabia? Currently, I see the consultant twice a year for a check-up and have had no complications etc.
Thanks
Dan

Hi Dan,
Congratulations on the new role!
Healthcare in Saudi Arabia is excellent and in Jeddah too. Bupa insurance covers a range of medical needs and costs, and the extent of this also depends on the package of choice. For specific details on the procedure, contact the Jeddah branch using the contact details provided on the Bupa website. Check out our page healthcare and hospitals in Jeddah for more insights.
Have you travelled to Saudi Arabia before?
All the best,
Claire
Thanks Claire,
Nope - I haven’t been to Saudi Arabia before but have been reading up on it a lot the past month or so.
