Hei everyone!

I'm from Istanbul (Non-EU), and I want to move to Oslo.

I have a BA in Business and a second BA in Advertising. I studied both majors in English. I also have an International Business Communications certificate from a school in Vancouver. But apart from a few internships (one at an international advertising agency, and one at Coca-Cola), I don't have much work experience in these fields.

Since 2009, I've been working as a freelance writer, blogger and social media consultant; I've vast experience.

And in 2011, I've acquired CELTA, which is a Cambridge-based certificate to teach English anywhere in the world. I've 4 years of experience in teaching English to adults.

I lived in Norway for 9 months as a student in 2005, and I've many Norwegian friends (who can vouch for me), though I don't speak Norwegian yet. I'm willing to learn.

My question is, how can one find work in writing/publishing related fields? How does applying for a permit work if you are a freelancer?

My background is quite diverse, though I don't know if I qualify as a skilled worker. UDI and Nav.no don't have anything on freelancers outside of EU.

I'd appreciate your tips and links to relevant resources.

Basically, I wouldn't mind working part-time in several jobs, or a full-time job if I need to.

Thanks so much!

Best,
Pinar
