Hi expat parents

Does anyone have experience of the local school system in Vietnam? If you're an expat in it for the long haul, is it worth sending your child to a good Vietnamese school or is it still a good idea to send kids to private international schools with American/British/international curriculums in Hi Chi Minh City? Any insights welcome.

I am an expat..10 years in Vietnam. Taught at intern'l & public schools. No brainer answer...send your child to international school only. Do NOT even consider the public schools here, these schools are not suitable for foreign children.
