I have got a job offer for OMR 2900 per month all inclusive , is it a good offer ? Can I get gated community apartment or townhouse in Oman at reasonable rents ? Pls advise . Regards

Hi ricky2013, whether this is a good offer all depends on what kind of work you'll be doing in Oman and whether this is market related. Also, whether this salary is good enough for you and allows you to live a relatively good life all depends on your own particular circumstances and liefstyle. I suggest you take a look at our page on the Cost of Living in Oman to determine how far this salary will get you in Oman and what you should expect to pay for your basic goods and services, inlcuding accommodation.

You need to provide more details on your job offer. Obviously, a reasonable salary will depend on your experience and the field of work. Also you need to work out exactly how much the company benefits will add up to.

I suggest you taking a look at the Cost of Living in Oman page for more information and use it as a resource to work out if you could have a suitable lifestyle on that salary.
