is it possible for a wife on a husband visa to get an employment in Oman?

Hi JMQ,

Although the Family joining visa you will be on in Oman allows spouses and children of expats working in Oman to legally reside in the country, if you do want to take up employment, you will need to apply for a employement visa.

Already being a resident in the country might give you an advantage over other job applicants and make it easier for you to attend interviews and network. So give it a try !

For more information on work permits and the documentation necessary to obtain a work permi check out the Visas for Oman page.

Kind Regards,

Shantalie
