I have been offered by my current employer to relocate to Sharjah with an offer of 1000 USD per month excluding my indian salary, housing, conveyance allowance and schooling of my kid. Will it be sufficient for food and utilities for a family of 3?

That would be enough if all other expenses are taken care by your Employer as you said.
