Hi Alison,

Firstly, what field of work are looking for a job in ?

It is not easy to get a work permit to work legally in Nigeria. Only those with specialist skills in IT, communications and health sciences are likely to find good job opportunities in Lagos.

Also when applying for jobs in Nigeria, please be careful as there are a lot of scams going on at the moment. Basically, if a job offer sounds to be good to be true it probably is.

For more about the job market in Nigeria take a look at the Expat Arrivals page on Working in Nigeria.

Good luck
