Is it better to already have a job before relocating to the Bahamas?

As owners of an insurance brokerage, we decided to sell our firm and relocate to Nassau.

We are English speaking, so do not have issues with the language.

We want our two children ages 11 and 13 to integrate and begin schoolng within a British-American system.

My wife and I are looking at employment opportunities within the financial services sector.

Would it be easier to seek a position in Nassau once we are here, or do you fellow forumees recommend lining up a secure job once here.

We are hedge fund managers and specialise in investment opportunities in South African real estate in bespoke game farms / reserves and coastal golfing estates.
