Hi,

I'm from India and I have got a job offer from UAE (Abu Dhabi). I have done a TB test here and few other blood tests, and as per Doctor it is LTBI (Latent TB Infection), but not active TB disease. As per the Doctor I'm medically fit and there is nothing to worry.

As this is the first time I will come to UAE for work, I would like to know few things:

1. Whether I will pass the medical test even if I have LTBI infection or not?

2. If they do a test after I arrive there in UAE and find out the same issue (LTBI infection) will they deport me or ban me forever?

As I was reading that if a UAE residents ( expats) is detected with LTBI, he is still called medically fit, but he will have to go through a treatment within 1 year of conditional medical certificate given to him.

Can any one kindly give some genuine information related the above queries? Appreciate your help in advance !

Regards
