Hi all. I am a 19 almost 20 year old woman. I am currently working as a Social media Marketer and Administrator. I did not study for the work I do now I just had a natural talent for marketing. I have been doing this job for almost a year. I am from South Africa and I am trying to relocate to Dubai but I wanted to know first if there would be job opportunities for me in a Marketing, Advertising or Admin field.

There are jobs for social media marketers in Dubai however the competition is stiff. With one year experience and no formal education you price tag just went down. However I have no doubt you will find a suitable job for you in Dubai

You're going to have difficulties finding a job in this field without a degree which, based on your age, I'm assuming you don't have? Probably better to study for some qualifications in the field as you don't have experience on your side right now.

I was in dubai for 6 years. Now relocating to UK. Here simone abraham, i could give few advice. For getting job for girls in dubai is like drawing a straight line. i mean mediocre job. not high level. for example as marketing person girls are more efficient, this has been found by managements. if you can work in hotel industry its easy. just plan a walk in interview to any 5 star hotels. salary would be like 6000 dirhams with food & accommodation. but first of all get a drivers licence. (just get converted, since you are from S.A) or in case you want to change your profession...just walk into any General managers cabin of a shopping mall.... he will hire you as personal secretary, office staff etc... even put you on marketing...(if you are so particular and found of marketing) salary will be like 7000-9000 dirhams... room and food of your own... abu dhabi pays more than dubai... so try getting there...getting jobs for gents is a hell of a task...i have few contacts... for mediocre jobs from 2000 dhs- 4000 dhs anybody can mail me deepucraft@gmail.com
