Hello All, I need help.

I am currently working in Hong Kong and have monthly salary of around HK$ 26000 after Rent and Tax Deduction. I have received an offer of RMB 18000/monthly after Rent and Tax Deduction. Can someone tell me if just on the basis of this, is it worth moving to Shanghai if I want to have better savings in the end of the month.

Here I am just focusing on day to day living expenses.

Thanks for the help.

Ajay.

Hi ajay,

Use our Cost of living in Shanghai and Cost of Living in Hong Kong pages to compare prices. Hopefully, these will provide you with some insight into the cost of goods in each of the destinations. Remember much of your cost of living depends on your personal circumstances and lifestyle options.

Good luck
