Actually i am from India, and planning to shift my family to Kerteh, malaysia for join new job in Petronas. i have 5+ yrs old daughter. Can any body help me which location will best in Kerteh for rent house. And which school will best for my daughter?

Thanks, actually do you have any idea about Kerteh location, as i am going to there . As kerteh is far away from Kuala lumpur, i will keep my family there.

Hi hchetia,

There are lots of international schools in Malaysia, but the fact is most are based in Kuala Lumpur. If you are looking for a school that follows the Indian national curriculum the Global Indian International school does have a campus in Kuala Lumpur.

Be aware that competition for places at international schools can be fierce, with many schools having long waiting lists. The other downside is that fees at international schools are also notoriously high. Its best if you can make sure your company provides some sort of allowance for your daughters schools fees.

Kerteh is a 5 hour drive from KL. For rental properties, probably best try mudah.com.my and search under 'Kerteh' and 'Kertih'. There are a few govt schools there but best investigate once you arrive. There is an international school located in Kijal. That is a 20min drive.
