Hi Christine, whether you need a visa for Spain or not all depends on your nationality and what passport you hold. If you're an EU national then you're unlikley to need a visa, but if you're coming from elsewhere you'll need to get a Schengen visa for Spain - check out our Visas for Spain page for further info about this.

If you have a EU passport, you can travel within the EU without restrictions. If you move to another place for a long time to live there, you should go to the local registration office to register your primary residence. For non-EU citizens it depends and the best bet is to ask the local embassy or consulate of Spain in your country.
