In recent years, it's become a lot tougher for foreigners to get work in Hong Kong. Under legislation, you first have to find an employer to sponsor you before you can get a work permit, and it has to be clear that you will add to the economy and that there isn't a local who can fill the position (proving this would be up to the company).
That said, IT is always growing and your experience puts you in relatively good stead, especially if you can back it up with qualifications. There are many online job portals and recruitment companies, so I'd check that out first.
Business hours are usually the standard 9am to 5pm, and some companies work on Saturdays - usually from 9am to 1pm.
Have a look at our Working in Hong Kong and Doing Business in Hong Kong pages for a bit more detail.
Best of luck!
