Hi there. My name is Alistair and I am a fresh architecture graduate who has just moved to the UAE for work. I found a job in Dubai but I am totally clueless when it comes to living and working here. I am on a graduate salary (SO VERY LOW) and I will need to find a room in a flat to rent. Im battling with a number of things. Firstly Im not sure what areas are good for expats (on a budget) TO BE LIVING IN. The area obviously needs to be near a metro. The area I will be working in is called Business Bay. Ultimately im trying to locate an area close enough to my place of work that has an expat community and the possibility of flat share. Please.....any advice would be greatly appreciated.
