Hello,
I have a dream to live in Amsterdam, it's been my dream now for a while, I love Holland, I love the Dutch I lover the language (Which I started to learn). I have been living in Las Vegas NV USA for 34 years and before in Miami FL But I was born and raised in Israel. In anyway, my wife (From a pioneer family in Nevada) will retires from teaching in a public school in about a year and a half and all we want to do is leave the US for good as we are not happy here. There are two things that I am most concerned about, dwelling and health insurance. I see American health insurance companies here on this site, but how about Dutch health insurance? Also I understand that home renting is expensive in Amsterdam, I was thinking about a houseboat, I read about it and understand some of the costs involved in living on the water. Has anyone have any experience with houseboats in Amsterdam?
Thank you in advance,
Allon
