What is the financial job market like in Sydney at moment?

Hey Might be planning a move to Sydney next year. Just wondering what the market is like for qualified ACA accountant from Ireland. Heard that parts of Aus were affected by downturn in China so wanted to check that Sydney is still doing ok. I have 5 years experience in finance and am a fully qualified accountant. Peter

Hi Goldenbrown15,

I'd advise you to take a look at the Working in Sydney page to get a general idea of what the economy is like.

Its also best to have a job lined up before moving to Sydney. The cost of living is fairly high in the city and it would therefore be best to have employment secured before arriving there.
