Hi,

Is the education system/curriculum in Singapore same as in the UK?

I'm considering to pay a subscription for this website Twinkl.

They are a UK based company but do have a Singapore domain. Just want to make sure when I move to Singapore, I still can use their resources for my son and they are related to what schools in Singapore teach.

Hello,

The education system in Singapore differs from that in the UK but there are international schools that follow the UK curriculum. We have a fantastic guide on International Schools in Singapore.

Singapore has various options, public and private, and you must evaluate which option works best for you and your family. Many expats choose international schools which follow an international curriculum, such as IB, or one based in another country, such as IGCSEs and A Levels. Have a read of Education and Schools in Singapore as well. Whether the company you mentioned provides relevant resources is worth discussing with them directly. Alternatively, private tutoring companies can provide useful resources, and this is explained in our guide to education.

Our guide to Singapore is comprehensive, have you looked into other aspects of the move, like visas and accommodation?
