Hi All,
I am planning to move to Australia along with my family with 491 sub class Visa.
I would be interested in knowing the cost of living in Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia. It would be of great help if you could give me some insights into some of the basics such as rent, food, insurance, entertainment, utilities, etc.
Thanks so much!

Hey Manjunathc,
The move to Australia sounds exciting. The cost of living will vary according to your lifestyle choices. For example, if you eat out a lot or choose to send your kids to an international school your monthly expenses are going to increase. While we don't have any specific information for Darwin, I think the cost of living in Australia page to provide you with some guide prices.
Are you moving to Darwin for work? Have you negotiated employment package with accommodation/schooling allowances?
Good luck
