Hi,
I have just moved to Melbourne on a TSS 482 visa which is a sponsored visa by my employer.
Wanted to check on the skill assessment part of the step whole applying for PR in future.
Can we use a different job code while applying for the skill assessment test, the reason being that the current occupation code does not match my profile fully but then another code matches perfect.
Both these job codes fall under the wider Information Technology category (ACS), so can I use the one that fits 100% or do I have to stick to the one currently issued for my 482 visa.
If I shouldn't apply with a different occupation code, do so with the current job code would have any issues? taken into consideration that my profile has a better match with another job code.
Would be great if someone could give some insight.

This is a tricky one, probably best to contact the immigration department directly and see if you're able to get some answers. Otherwise, an immigration lawyer may be able to point you in the right direction. Sorry I don't have much more advice than that, best of luck!
