Hi everyone I am new in this forum, I am currently stationed in the UK and a colleague recommended a quick trip to Cyprus. However, our financial levels are not the same (he is my boss). I wonder if I could get some first hand. Based on the rates online this is the best choice for my very limited travel budget. Problem is... I can't find much information about it, unlike other places. I got a cheap roundtrip blue air ticket online £52 and thought it was a good deal. Checked a couple of accommodation and found few good options within my budget Harmony Bay Hotel £50/night (beachfront based on online photos) airport transfer/Taxi, based on this online calculator in this site cyprus24.taxi, £50. Meal per day around £30-40.
So far I am convinced! I'd like to know if I missed anything.

May be this answer would be helpful for tourists or expats who want to find a nice and calm place. It is a good idea to rent villa or apartments, especially if you travel or move with a family or a big company. Some variants are going to cost from about 120 $ per night. Pros: you find a cosy summerhouse with your own pool, barbecue zone, pavillion, parking and territory without any other people. Only neighbours in the next villa.
I'd recommend Southern Cyprus: Protaras, Ayia Napa, Paphos, Coral Bay, Aphrodite Hills
