I am just moving from Switzerland to Johannesburg. I will be working in the Bryanston area. 

Really need some advice on where to live that has a good community feel and good for single people.

Any thoughts on Bryanston vs Hyde Park vs Fourways?

Hi!

All three of these areas are generally good to live in. If you are going to be working in Bryanston, living there may be the best option. Hyde Park tends to be much more expensive. Morning traffic from Fourways into Bryanston can be very hectic. 

Will you have your own car or be dependent on public transport? Our page on accommodation in Johannesburg may be helpful. Alternatively, you could also consult a local real estate agent from well known agencies like Seeff or Jawitz.
