Need advise on moving to Cyprus

I am moving to Cyprus early 2016 probably Feb/Mar I would love to hear from those who have relocated recently and the pitfalls etc warts and all. Moving from Australia which is now a total disaster to Cyprus to retire and live the dream.

Have you ever been to Cyprus and where are you thinking of living? All I can say at this stage is that all of the 6 couples I know who have relocated from UK since last September are now very happily settled. All renting, some are retired and others rely on other sources of income. Some brought all their household possessions and vehicles. All are from EU countries so the Immigration procedure will be slightly different for you but all the staff are very helpful. We're very happy here after 12 years and there are many Expats who have lived here far longer.
